Coglass ("we", "us") provides field-service software to glazing companies. This policy covers the Coglass mobile app and how we handle personal data within it.
Who controls your data
When you use Coglass as an employee of a company that subscribes to Coglass, your employer is the data controller for the business and customer data you work with, and Coglass acts as a data processor on their behalf. For requests about that data, contact your employer (your company's Coglass administrator).
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email and phone number, used to sign you in and identify you within your company's account.
- Content you create in the app — job notes, measurements, drawings, photos and messages.
- Customer information — contact and job details that staff enter to manage work (processed on behalf of the business).
- Device location — for field staff only, while you are using the app, to support job navigation and arrive/depart timestamps.
How we use it
Solely to provide the service — managing jobs, scheduling, communication and on-site capture for your company. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or track you across other apps or websites.
Location
Location is collected only while the app is in use, to power the field-staff job flow (your route, navigation, and arrival/departure on a job). You can disable location access in your device settings at any time, though some on-site features won't work without it.
Sharing
We share data only with sub-processors that help us run the service (for example hosting and message delivery), under contract and only to provide Coglass — never for their own marketing. We may disclose data where required by law.
Retention & deletion
We retain data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. To delete your account or personal data, contact your company administrator, or email contact@coglass.co.uk and we will action it (or pass it to your company where they control the data).
Your rights
Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict its processing. Contact your company administrator or contact@coglass.co.uk and we'll help.
